Epicurean Exchange

Program Summary

Have you exhausted your options for your child’s next birthday party? Have you done them all (we have): Clowns, Magicians, Pump it Up, Bowling, Q-Zar, Sky High, The Jungle, Water World, Mobile Video Games, Cupcake Making, Ballgames, Sleepovers?

Have you ever considered a private, hands-on cooking party? These parties are custom-designed based on the number of kids and their ages. Our goal is to provide themes and menus that are not only kid-friendly, but also use real recipes that make real food! Kids can either plate their dishes or serve buffet-style, and then gather around the table to share and celebrate their beautiful results. Not only do the kids have a lot of fun, they also casually use and learn elements of math, science, history, geography, other cultures, and yes, cooking. It’s a complete, engaging experience and the kids don’t even know they are actually learning so much! Any and all occasions apply to this unique format, and each gathering is carefully planned and orchestrated to exceed expectations!

All food and food products served are of highest quality, seasonal, organic (whenever possible), whole grain (least processed), nutrient-rich, and free of preservatives, artificial ingredients and sweeteners. All recipes are develop to be safe (for littler ones, most cutting is done ahead, but they actually cook and finish), and provide opportunity to use fundamental cooking techniques and work with and develop new skills.

Contact Epicurean Exchange Chef and Culinary Guide, Charles Vollmar via email charlie@epicureanexchange.com or phone 925-368-4181, to learn more about this unique and stress-free celebration alternative. Visit our website www.epicureanexchange.com to learn more about the chef and our philosophy.

Cost is on an occasion-by-occasion basis, and depends on the menu, and the number and ages of guests. It is a complete event, and very competitive with other options. Call me to discuss.
