A little taste of Who we are
Welcome to the Epicurean Exchange website! As we enter our 17th year, we are excited to share our work and mission: to enlighten our communities with meaningful and engaging cooking classes, hands-on events, excursions, and wellness topics and solutions to assist those with special needs or lifestyle challenges.
This website is your portal to a myriad of food topics, education and exploration. Whether you are seeking a one-time single subject cooking class or choose to take part in a multi-class series, to delve a bit deeper in discovery and skills dvelopment, there is something for every skill level and interest. From knife skills, to culinary fundamentals, to intricate and elaborate preparations, we have the variety you are looking for. And remember, gift certificates make great gifts as the quality time and experiences keep giving long after the occasion.
Epicurean Exchange specializes in planning and presenting all formats of culinary-themed programs: from private small group culinary demonstrations or hands-on events, to corporate team building activities, or a special family gathering or a group of friends wanting to get together for an evening out, the kitchen is the perfect backdrop for gatherings large and small.
Continue to look for local and regional behind-the-scenes excursions and travels, as we have exciting itineraries being developed for the coming year. Also, this year, we are exploring and planning our first overseas itinerary to France in the fall, with exclusive food ventures in Paris and Aix-en-Provence.
For those who know us, encouraging better eating and positive lifestyle support has always been a significant focus of our work. If you, or your family, are looking to improve your overall eating habits, we offer our custom Kitchen Fitness lifestyle program or House Calls, private chef services, to provide foundational and overall nutritional support. In addition, if you, or someone you know, is facing a medical challenge that requires substantial lifestyle change, we offer wellness and lifestyle assessments and prescriptive (doctor recommended) cooking services to help meet your goals.
Our outreach will continue to grow, as we have added an Epicurean Exchange BLOG to our list of offerings, will be communicating through Constant Contact, and you can always find us on Facebook, Twitter, Yelp, and Pinterest and…
